The new year is here, which means new fiction for your bleeding eyes. I have to admit, I’m excited about this one. I’ve been waiting patiently for close to (over?) a year for this to finally come out, and now it’s here! My story “When Ayanna Kapoor Waits” is in the Fall 2011 issue of OnSpec.
Also, while I’m being truthful, I have a hard time calling this story horror. “Speculative fiction” or “magical realism” fits it much better. I hope you enjoy.
In other news, and just as exciting, I’m finally going to reveal the big announcement I teased about over a month ago. Are you ready? Oh, okay. I’ll wait a minute.

Ready now? Good.
I’m pleased to announce that I am releasing a short story collection entitled Welcome to Moon Hill. The collection will be available in all popular ebook formats in about a week. Huzzah!
There’s more news. Yes, really.
My first novel, Soundtrack to the End of the World, was tentatively given a mid-April release date. The wait is almost over.
I think that should hold you for the time being. Yeah?
Whoa! That fast? You must of been busy over the holidays. Wicked awesome on the short story release.
In other news…I’m tentatively back. Frigging virus was a monster. Does that make me a monster wrangler now? Heh.

There she is! I was wondering about that. I figured the computer was out of commission for a while there. 😉
Holy cow — nothing but GREAT news over here. Well done, sir. Gizmo and I look forward to your upcoming releases!
Thanks, Milo (and Gizmo!) 🙂
Awesome news all around! You the man!
Thanks, Mary! I hope none of the work disappoints.
Huzzah indeed! Congrats on all the good stuff.
Wow! Lots of good news. Congratulations!
Can’t wait to read Soundtrack. And, oh my, On Spec’s cover is gorgeous.
