I have decided to put my new novel on hold for the next two months. I have a good reason for this (and it is not because I have too much school work to do…But I do).
I want to participate in this years NaNo WriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, which starts in November.
According to the official website, “National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.”
So, in order to participate, I am putting Tales At Twilight on hold.
In lieu of my novel, I will be crafting a few more short stories, the first of which I plan on entering into the Writers Digest Popular Fiction contest, for Horror of course. So far, I have not started any new stories, and only have the vaguest of ideas for them.
I do have plenty of School work to keep me busy in the meantime, but I don’t think that will be happening today.
