Submission #8

Yes, another one. Been busy these few days. Sure, I should be busy writing, but I can’t concentrate until I know my babies are out looking for new homes. Anywho, I sent “Enduring at the Edge of the Storm” back out, this time to Son and Foe, a professionally paying mag (5 cents/word). This story,

Submission #7–The Procrastination Blues

Sub 7 went out at midnight today to Horrors Beyond II, an anthology through ESP, publisher of Dark Wisdom. Today is also their deadline, so I got in in just in time. I had been waiting, trying to get a piece together that fit the theme, and had a high enough word count. I actually

Submissions #5 and #6

Both 5 and 6 went to Pedestal Magazine, which just reopened to submissions. They are only taking flash fiction (1000 words or less), and take no more than 3 at a time. Since I had two flash pieces just waiting to go, I sent ’em out. One is “Memories,” and the other is “Breaking Out.”

Taking only a few hours to mourn my latest batch of rejections letters, I resubmitted, “Enduring at the Edge of the Storm,” to Ideomancer, and sent “Drugged: A Character Study in Six Parts,” to City Slab. This will be the first submission for “Drugged” and the third for “Enduring.” This is also the third submission

Rejection #3: The Dry Spell Continues

8 day rejection from Ideomancer. I found this rejection in my spam folder tonight, which makes me worry: how many responses have I lost? Very short comment on this one. They liked what I did with it, but was still passing on it. Oh well. ——————————————– I polished up a short and is ready for
