So, I actually have some news for you on this warm, April day. And although it is April fools day, you can rest assured there are no tricks here.
First on the roster is the announcement of a new story being published. It’s a 100-word flash piece and will be available this Saturday at Dog Oil Press. I’ll be sure to post a link once it’s up.
I also have a couple new reviews available at Dark Scribe Magazine. I had a total blast reading these novels and recommend both wholeheartedly. The first is Shaun Jeffrey’s third novel, Deadfall. It’s a cool zombie novel that you should not miss.
The other review is of Lisa Morton’s The Lucid Dreaming. It’s a trippy, apocalyptic novella.
After you’ve checked out my reviews, be sure to peruse the other great stuff at Dark Scribe Magazine
In the wake of all this, I’ve been trying to stay on top of my writing. I’ve been doing pretty well, finishing about one short story per month. I know I’m not the most prolific writer out there, but I’m happy with my progress.
I just finished writing a short tentatively titled “Suicidal.” It’ll go through the standard month of editing and critiquing, and then I’ll send the poor bugger out into the harsh world of slush readers.
But with the completion of “Suicidal” comes the realization that I should start something new. Oh my… What will it be?
Good luck coming up with an idea Onipar! I'm sure you won't have that much trouble.
Congrats on your publication! Make sure to link us up to it tomorrow!
Thanks, K. Will-do.
Good luck with the story. And as for a new one, I'm sure you have a list of story ideas tucked away somewhere. And if you don't, you should start one. 🙂
Thanks, Fox. Yeah..I probably should get on that…
