COMING SOON BLOG HOP
I was invited by the amazing Ben Eads to participate in the COMING SOON BLOG HOP, so here I am, about to participate. The concept is that I answer some questions about my writing and agenda so you, my wary fans, know what I’ve been up to. So, here we go!
What are you working on right now?
I’m currently (STILL!) working on my second novel, tentatively entitled The Shadows of Flies. Truthfully though, I keep getting stuck, so I started writing some short stories to get the juices flowing again.
How does it differ from other works in its genre?
I consider this one fairly straightforward horror. It may be a little more character driven than other horror novels, but I doubt it’s noticeable.
What experiences have influenced writing?
All experiences.
Why do you write?
Because an invisible creature is holding a sharp object a centimeter from my ear canal.
How does your writing process work?
Mostly, it doesn’t.
What is the hardest part of writing?
Woodpeckers.
What would you like to try as a writer that you haven’t yet?
Getting paid well.
Who are the authors you most admire?
The ones I read.
Who are new authors to watch out for?
That’s a long list that I forgot in my other pocket.
What scares you?
Nematodes.
“Now that you know a little bit about me and my work, click the links below to read the blogs of three of my fellow writers…” (I stole that quote from Ben, because I’m lazy):
