I was just informed that I have won the writer’s choice award, for the month of September, on the Edit Red site. The story that won is called “Drugged: A Character Study in Six Parts.” Edit Red is a critique site where you can create a profile and upload work for other writers to critique.

Well, it looks like the editors of many magazines are cleaning out the old slush piles for the holiday weekend. I received a 30-day rejection from Weird Tales, and a 32-day rejection (for two flash pieces) from The Pedestal Magazine. I resubmitted a couple of stories this weekend too.
