I just received word that I won the writers4writers monthly contest. I won my choice of $25 cash, or a $25 Amazon gift card. I chose the gift card so I wouldn’t be tempted on spending it on gas.
Anyone interested in entering one of the site’s monthly contests need only sign up for free. Not only do you get a chance to enter their monthly contest, but by becoming a member (again, for FREE), you have full access to the writing forum (market info, questions and answers, writing journals, and much much more), access to the newsletter (not to mention the opportunity to appear in it), and access to the critique forum (upon request).
I’ve been a member there for a year or more. It’s a great little community of writers, with no specific genre area, but they do have forums for different genre discussion.
So go check it out. If for no other reason than to enter the contest.
