Finals are over, thank the good Lord.
I have big plans for this month off, starting with my writing and ending with submissions. I have two or three written out ideas ready to go for short stories (at least one involving reanimation, a new subject for me).
My three submissions are still out. This is the longest it has ever taken to get a response from Surreal, which leads me to believe they are considering it. Of course this is just conjecture, and they can just as easily be taking longer because they have more submissions than usual.
With the approaching Holiday, it is hard for me to stay in a dark frame of mind for horror writing, especially when all I want to do is eat Christmas cookies and watch a good holiday movie or two, but I will not let that stop me.
