Yesterday, I created a new blog that I planned on using as a book-review site.
I changed my mind.
Instead, I decided to simply post the book reviews here, where I already have a few readers. I will still post about writing here, but I want to branch out a bit and add some new content. My guess is I will probably use horror as a starting point, posting about horror novels, scary movies, and horror magazines. I may branch out even more over time.
Mainly, what I’d like to happen is for the readers here to join in the discussions. Don’t just read my post and say, “okay.” Tell me what you think about it. Do you feel differently? Did I say something that could easily be attributed to a macaw? Call me on it.
And above, you’ll find the first review.
I’ll be sure to offer my two cents on various books where I can. It’ll be interesting to see what another horror writer is reading.
As you probably know, I post reviews of all my reading material and I think it’s an interesting way to show your readers who you are – and plug some good books.h
I’m looking forward to seeing what you think. My next post may acually have nothing to do with horror…we’ll see. I’ll stop by and take a look at your reading list too.
